ABOUT

We are a small hobby breeder and take pride in raising happy, healthy cocker spaniels.  We live in southwest Michigan (Kalamazoo County) on ten acres and bought our first cocker spaniel, Buffy, in 1987.  It was love at first sight.

In the mid 90's our young son, Daryl, decided he wanted a black cocker spaniel which he named Sassy, later he bought a male he called Chance, to breed with Sassy.  A couple of years later our daughter, Kelsey, got her first pup she named Baby.  This was the beginning of their college fund and our passion for cocker spaniels.  While Daryl is now 33 and a doctor of veterinary medicine and Kelsey, 30, is a special education teacher, Dave and I have continued raising nd breeding this beautiful animal.

Our female line descends from Daryl's first dog, Sassy.  Our males are purchased from respectable breeders that also show cocker spaniels (and have the health screening done).  This helps ensure that our pups are continuing a happy, healthy lineage.

The puppies are born in our home and are socialized with family members and other dogs. Pups can receive visitors from ages three to five weeks.  This is when their immune system is strongest.  Weaning starts at four to five weeks and they start developing their own immune systems.  Up until weaning their mother's milk is their immune system.  They receive their first shots at seven The pups are ready to leave for their new homes at 9 weeks.

We currently have a waiting list for pups.  If you would like to be added please email us (see contact page), include color and sex. After the pups are born we start contacting people, via email, in sequential order of the waiting list. We need to hear back from you within 48 hours of our email so that we can keep progressing down our wait list. When the pups are three weeks of age we request a non-refundable deposit (half down) with the remainder due when you pick up your new baby.

We DO NOT ship puppies. Please call if you have any questions, 269-370-2327.
